High HLB sucrose esters (such as sucrose laurate or palmitate) are widely utilized in Solid Dispersions and Self-Emulsifying Drug Delivery Systems. Their high hydrophilic nature stabilizes thin topical lotions, gels, and vaginal/rectal creams, providing a smooth, non-greasy skin feel without causing irritation.
